Play with hands, 2011

•Event: In:act 2 – Vietnam performance art festival

Performance art is a way for me to talk with myself. I assume the hand as an animal being grown inside a cage. I observe its habits and activities. It is like a dialogue through feelings- Lonely and Lost

When i am 21 years old, 2010

•Medium- media: Performance art

•Veneu: Goethe Institute- Vietnam

•Event: Workshop of Nezaket Ekici performance artist

•Duration: about 30 minutes

•Describe:
I compare the size between me and another mannequin to see the different standard between us at the same time.

My mother’s performance looks like a designer while she is measuring every parts of my body. She breaks the quiet atmosphere with her sound while she is singing a lullaby about a mother’s endless love to her child. This work helps my mother and I look back the past changing 21 years  and it’s truly a remarkable turning point.

Rescue of the squid, 2011

  • Event: In:act year two - Vietnam Performance art festival
  • Medium:Performance art
  • Duration: about 30 minutes
  • Describe:Rescueing the squid is an imaginary experiment.I imagine how a dry squid is brought back to life. I increase the water degree, put salt, sink and dive myself like I'm in the ocean. I struggle in a shape of limited, strange space which is both familiar and simultaneously distant.  I clean and polish another squid to satisfy the repression of feelings. I eventually recognize it is telling my own stories.

A stamp.1, 2010

The moment I was born was the first stamp of my life. Each person I meet everyday gives me images which imprint in my emotion and my perception. It is not easy to forget. Those images create many kind of societies around me.I myself think the distinction of different languages, young and old, races, clothes trade- mark, appearance is not the litmitation of connecting people together. This work is the simple way for me to keep these impressive remainder. And they are also the everlasting elements for my work.
