My work is a photo series of and about a friend of mine, her name is Nguyen Mai Nga, born in 1984. She has been sick for 3 years with Red Lupus disease. she has been taking a lot of medicines in the last three years. Until now her disease has not got better.

I took her photos to keep the moments of her, day by day, with every little changes after every times taking medicine, they are her hope. the disease might never disappear, she might never recover, because of the medicine or herself.

Medicines can not guarantee her life, nobody else either. No one knows what are inside medicines, but still we keep using them to make we think or feel ok.
